Following discussions with President Xi Jinping, both leaders signed commercial deals worth over $250 billion.

Xi called them "two-way investment agreements." Both leaders agreed to cooperate on other major issues, notably North Korea. China absolutely wants war avoided, Xi stressing the need for solutions "through peaceful communication and consultation."

Trump bashed Pyongyang, saying "the entire civilized world must unite to confront the North Korean menace." 

Fact: The only major one is headquartered in Washington – with satellite operations in NATO and other rogue states.

Trump: "Today, President Xi – we discussed our mutual commitment to the complete denuclearization of North Korea. We agreed not to replicate failed approaches of the past, and there were many."
