Over one thousand people joined the "Freedom Rally" in Melbourne on Saturday. Officers used pepper spray and tackled protesters, as some attempted to storm police lines with their arms linked.
Shouts of "shame on you" could be heard being directed at around 700 police officers who had set up a barricade outside the Parliament House.
