|A small plane went down in Lake of the Ozarks Wednesday afternoon. Three people survived.|
March 11, 2015 – MISSOURI, UNITED STATES – Three people were taken to a local hospital after a plane crash in Osage Beach.
At 12:31 p.m. Wednesday, Osage Beach Police got a 911 call of a possible airplane crash between Public Beach #2 and Malibu Road.
A second report came in clarifying the small passenger plane crashed at Public Beach #2.
Osage Beach firefighters got to the scene seven minutes later and spotted three survivors on the shoreline, on the opposite side of the cove.

Osage Beach Fire Chief Jeff Dorhauer said terrain was rough getting to the survivors so they used a neighboring fire district’s boat to reach them.
The pilot told firefighters he was able to unbuckle his passengers, an elderly woman and a young girl to get them to shore.
The plane is a single-engine 1976 Beechcraft B-19.
Chief Dorhauer said the three victims are related and were on their way home to St. Louis.
The three were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in stable condition.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is on the scene.
