Did you know?
In China, there’s a CRAZY urban legend: In China, drivers who have injured pedestrians will sometimes then try to kill them. It’s true.
Seriously, not only is it true but it’s common!!!
Security cameras often capture drivers driving back and forth on top of victims to make sure their dead. The Chinese language have an adage for the phenomenon: “It’s better to hit to kill than to hit and injure.”
Why? In China the compensation for killing a victim in a traffic accident is relatively small—amounts typically range from $30,000-$50,000—a once paid amount, the matter is over. By contrast, paying for lifetime care for a disabled survivor can run into the millions.
The name “Double-Hit Cases”.
I know it’s morbid…but I’m placing this here for the intent purpose of the shock value. Don’t you think it’s a crazy story? And what’s more it’s the truth.
I want to shock the reader into realizing that our actions have consequences…and if not here, then in the next dimension.
To intentionally kill for selfish reasons…we’re all about us, right!
Drive down the street a mile or two and see if someone deliberately cuts you off, or shoots out to only get in front of you so they can be in front on the red light.
It’s madness, I tell you!! It’s so hard not to want to cuss someone out.
It’s all about you. Not anyone else, but you. It’s hard to live in this world without noticing the anger, the rage…
Test Drive? People take sin for a test drive every day! Only to drive themselves out of control. Sin is a one way street without a speed limit.
Have you ever thought about your safety? Taking a test drive should bring up lots of questions about safety, etc… Who has power of your steering?
To keep track of what is happening around your, you should always:
Keep yourself at a safe distance to others, or risk having to slam on your brakes at full speed.
Keep your eyes still and only look straight ahead? Nope. You must keep a safe watch on everyone around you because things could take a turn for the worse at any second. Stay alert and focused.
Is your walk truly headed in the right direction?
Where is your life leading you? Are you asleep at the wheel, or are you aware of what’s ahead?
To sin—intentionally is dangerous territory. Do you know your sinning but feel like your out of control? How do we stop the world from spinning so fast we feel the need to jump the tracks…an out of control train!
Put on the brakes!
It’s all about will power. People go to 12-step programs, or to a doctor for drugs…or even worse, they’ve spun out of control and their actions have hurt someone. They feel they have no will power.
Hitting bottom it what some people refer to…only then are some able to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel their in.
Is your life out of control?
Or you know someone who’s is…
It’s time to take the wheel and ask GOD.
Ask GOD for forgiveness, seek Jesus Christ as The Path…The Only Path to GOD.
