NYT Fake News About Cornerstone of Peace at Risk

Falsely accusing Russia of violating the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) is part of longstanding Times misinformation.

No violations occurred. Obama administration claims otherwise were false. So was Joint Chiefs vice chairman General Paul Selva in March House Armed Services Committee testimony.

The Times: "(T)here is no doubt that (Putin is) stok(ing) fears in the…NATO" alliance – falsely accusing him of INF violations.

"(I)ncreased pressure (should be applied on) Russia to find some kind of diplomatic solution to the missile treaty dispute."

"…Russia (is falsely) accused of interfering in the American election and (Trump) has been an apologist for (Putin) – "while the Pentagon and the intelligence community are ringing alarm bells about the Russian threat."
