Nothing Compares

One of the most amazing songs, ever.

Amazing Grace” was published in 1779, with words written by the English poet and Anglican clergyman John Newton (1725–1807).

Newton wrote the words from personal experience. He grew up without any particular religious conviction, but his life’s path was formed by a variety of twists and coincidences that were often put into motion by his recalcitrant insubordination.

Doesn’t that sound familiar? Seriously??

I know many people who say, “Well, I don’t really go to church but I’m a believer.”

Once sailing a ship full of slaves from Africa…John’s ship was hit by a fierce storm. Newton feared for his life and got down on his knees and begged The Lord to spare his life.

A storm is coming. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever experienced in your life. No one on this Earth can save you from it. As a matter of fact…everyone is in grave danger.

Their lives were in turmoil. Their hands covered in sin. Like many around them, they seek to fill a void by material items. Instead, all they do is dig themselves deeper and deeper into a hole. A dark void where one feel so alone.

Bitter sorrow and unending grief.

I think that is the closest thing I’ve heard to express it.

The many protect the one. Wrong. The One protect the many.

What if I told you that this world and the things in it will NEVER fill that void. No matter how hard you try…drugs, sex, money, nor fame will give you satisfaction.

Actually, there are many people who confess that they have ‘everything’…yet can’t put their finger on why they feel like nothing really matters. Nothing that possess fills the emptiness.

Amazing Grace.

There’s nothing like it in the whole world.

Grace can’t be found here, or there or anywhere on this Earth. And we, as humans will never be able capable of earning it. Instead, it’s a GIFT from GOD.

We will never be ‘good enough’ to earn it. No matter what you think you’ve done or said…it’s never enough to earn this grand perception of redemption.

As your hatred and awareness of sin increases, you become desperate. An artist could try to paint a clear picture of who GOD is, and hoe much HE loves us but the divine message cannot be told without discovering the truth.

Humankind is saved from damnation/hell though the intercession of Jesus Christ. Jesus is GOD’S One and Only Son. There’s no other path to GOD.

Grace is the unmerited favor, unmerited mercy of GOD.

GOD sent HIS Only Son, Jesus Christ to save humanity. He died on the cross for us, securing your eternal salvation from sin.

It’s free. It’s offered only by GOD so you will never obtain it through anyone, or any other path. Sadly, Satan wants you to believe that there are other paths to enlightenment, to true divinity. But, they are lies. Don’t fall for them…or wait…that’s what you’ve been doing!

Everyone is searching for something to blow their mind. Drugs? Sex? Money? Has it done it for you? There might be a few things in your life that were able to blow your mind, but nothing can compare.

Listen up!

Let GOD blow your mind.

You will never hear anything like it.

You will never see anything that comes close.

You will never taste pure righteousness without it.

And to feel it, is a little bit of heaven on Earth.

Amazing Grace! how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind but now I see

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
‘Tis grace that brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home

When we’ve been there ten thousand years
Bright, shining as the sun
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun

Amazing Grace! how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind but now I see
Was blind but now I see

Give your life to GOD. Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and spirit. Seek forgiveness. You will receive unconditional love like you’ve never experienced here on Earth. The void will no longer be black. Instead it will not longer be a void but it will be light. Forever.

Psalm 51 (KJV)

1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
