Blaming Assad for US War Crimes in Syria

In September 2011, Paulo Pinheiro was appointed Chairman of a three-member International Commission of Inquiry for Syria (COI). 

Its mandate is investigating war crimes and human rights abuses – charged with blaming Syria for high crimes committed against its sovereignty and people.

Pinheiro is a US imperial tool, wanting Assad held responsible for years of war ravaging the country. Syria was invaded by US-backed terrorists, supported by so-called coalition terror-bombing on the phony pretext of combating ISIS Washington created and supports.

The main job of any leader is defending his or her country's national security, especially in times of war.
